Dear Owners & Guests,
As you may be aware, the Bureau of Meteorology has current warnings in place regarding Tropical Cyclone Alfred which is predicted to make landfall in South East Queensland and Northern New South Wales from this Thursday 6 March 2025. According to the Bureau, the watch zone is the Sandy Cape to Grafton, which includes Brisbane, Gold Coast, Sunshine Coast and Byron Bay but not including Grafton.
To prepare, we ask members and guests to be aware of the current warnings and any potential flooding and road closures. At this stage, all resorts will remain open, and bookings remain in place, however we advise members to always ensure their safety during travel.
At resorts, we ask that you follow all weather warnings and instructions provided by the manager and/or emergency services. Please ensure that any loose items are stored away or secured, and any windows and doors are properly secured. In case of power outages, please familiarise yourself with the location of torches and emergency evacuation plans.
